DID THE PAGOP JUST ENDORSE LOBBYIST ALTMIRE???
Our sources in the Critz campaign, alerted us to an attack ad run in today's Johnstown Tribune Democrat, which attacks Casey and Critz. The ad was paid for by the Cambria County GOP. Cambria is home to Chairman Rob Gleason and we've been told his operatives have a stranglehold on the Party. What is unusual about this attack ad is its timing. The piece attacking Critz runs a day before the Cambria Democratic endorsement meeting; the day Altmire visits the Eastern region of the new PA 12th. We immediately contacted our source in the Altmire campaign. The disgruntled staffer explained it this way; Altmire personally sent out an SOS to the PAGOP for help for help in Cambria. The cynical reality is that if Altmire were to prevail in April and November he might be caucusing with Boehner. His boss, Altmire, wants to keep his options open and the PAGOP wants to keep their options open. The disgruntled staffer remains disillusioned and believes the campaign maybe poisoning themselves with voters in the Democratic voter-rich Cambria and Somerset.

But if health care costs get contained his clients (see Lobbyist Altmire's Opensecrets donorreports) the large hospital systems, big Pharma and medical insurance systems lose. So either the Lobbyist is a steadfast proponent of the status quo which is bankrupting our nation and hurting small business or Altmirecare will have to aim its focus on you the Middle Class and your benefits. From past history, we believe that Altmire will stick by his clients.

We have been checking in with all of our sources in all three campaigns, including Altmire's disgruntled staffer. We believe there is a 50/50 shot that Altmire will be taken off the ballot. So if this scenario comes to pass, the Altmire expulsion offers some interesting issues: 1. Can Altmire proceed as an independent and would he? 2. Will the Altmire campaign be required to return in full its 2012 primary war chest? We can certainly understand Altmire donors, even as we speak, asking for their money back, but will the Lobbyist be required to return their donations?

The Rothfus camp is extremely bullish about Congressman Mark Critz's results in Allegheny County. They believe lobbyist Jason Altmire does have an enthusiasm gap in what used to the be the 4th District or shall we say the lobbyist's backyard. The GOP challenger intends to use the results of Sunday's vote to boost his fund-raising. WE INTEND TO MAKE SURE NEITHER OF THE THREE CAMPAIGNS FORGETS THE PLIGHT OF THE WESTERN PA MIDDLE CLASS!!!! WE PROMISE TO BE IN THEIR FACES EVERYDAY FOR YOU!

Our blog is interested in Saving the Western PA Middle Class. We have a high interest in the PA 12th Race. We have not officially endorsed any candidate. But we have very serious concerns about the candidacy of Lobbyist Altmire. We want to know why only one third of the Allegheny County Democratic Committee people chose to vote this past Sunday for the endorsement of Altmire in his own backyard? Do they know Lobbyist Altmire too well? Here is our argument: Normally, a government official runs for office and then becomes a lobbyist. Altmire is the revolving door of government in reverse: he goes from being a lobbyist to being a Representative. Frankly, we don't believe the average middle class voter trusts a lobbyist and we think Altmire's showing on Sunday shows that the lobbyist also invokes little enthusiasm.

John Heinz gave up a life of extreme privilege for extreme public service and died on the job. We do not believe that Lobbyist Altmire's path of going from the self-serving world of lobbying to the self-serving world of catering to special interests in the Beltway from on the floor of Congress is a formula that will stand up to the voters over time

Our informed sources tell us that 500 Allegheny Committee people were able to vote on the PA 12th endorsement. Less than a third chose to vote at all. Of these one third voted against the Representation of their Congressman Jason Altmire. We do not buy the spin of the Altmire camp. We believe this vote shows a flaming weakness of the Altmire candidacy and should be sounding alarm bells to all Allegheny County Dem politicos. IN FACT, IF WE COUNT NO SHOWS AS NO VOTES, CRITZ BEAT LOBBYIST ALTMIRE! Altmire may claim victory but Sunday should be a flashing warning light about the Lobbyists electability in the Fall.

INEVITABILITY is a BELTWAY concept. A Campaign can have the support of SuperPacs, lobbyists, large campaign funds but at the end of the day, voters have choices. WHETHER ALTMIRE REMAINS A DEM OR GOES INDEPENDENT HINGES ON HIS PERFORMANCE AT THE ALLEGHENY COUNTY DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE ENDORSEMENT MEETING
Our sources are telling us that if Altmire shows poorly on Sunday, he will drop out of the primary and soldier on as an independent. Our source told us Altmire hopes to garner 65% of the votes. Anything less will have Lobbyist Altmire heading for the door.

SINCE NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE NRCC HAVE FAILED, WILL ALTMIRE DROP OUT OF THE DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY AND RUN AS AN INDEPENDENT???
We are hearing fresh rumors today that Altmire is considering a bid as an independent. Lobbyist Altmire, is obviously very ideologically confused. Perhaps he should run under the OPPORTUNIST PARTY label. The Western PA MIDDLE CLASS cannot afford to elect representatives who are more interested in their own job, rather the futures of our Middle Class families that are really hurting.

Friday's NRCC release has all the looks and smell of a rebuff from a scorned lover. You can't blame the NRCC for intensively recruiting Altmire. They like lobbyists and he was a great lobbyist. However, our blog remains unconvinced that Altmire has ever been an effective advocate for the Western PA Middle Class. In fact, we think Altmire will sell us out in a heartbeat, if our demise helps insure him a place in the beltway.

President Obama, we know that you are a caring person who wants to move forward the entire nation, not just the BELTWAY AND WALL STREET!

The DOJ could have kept former NDIC jobs in Johnstown. It was not inevitable that these jobs needed to be moved from a distressed Western PA small NDIC,town to job-rich Washington DC. If the Western Pa Middle class and the American middle class are to make progress, out of touch, incompetent BELTWAY elites who waste tax payers money, need to go. President OBAMA, the Western PA Middle Class needs more hope. Appoint officials who don't waste tax-payer funds and are sensitive to the majority of Americans who either are not privileged to live in the Beltway or who by choice don't want to live in the BELTWAY! Show Mr. Holder the door, before his DOJ costs you your re-election!
