While we were honored to receive this noble invitation, we declined. We do not believe in the religion of de-regulation, the de-industrialization of America and free markets run amuck. We do not believe a bad teacher in public school is a public villain while a bad teacher in a charter school is a public hero. If we want to meet conservative Beltway lobbyists, we just need to attend a Jason Altmire town hall meeting.
