It is our contention that the Altmire campaign, however well-funded it is, is in ruins. We are not convinced Altmire is electable in the Fall. After losing Allegheny's Labor Council vote, it is apparent that labor support, even in Altmire's backyard, for Big Healthcare Lobbyist Altmire is rather lukewarm. We believe his votes in favor of the healthcare status quo and the millions of dollars that Big Healthcare has lavished on Mr. Altmire will continue to haunt him. Finally, the Lobbyist can talk proms all he wants. It was not the job of the Critz or Rothfus campaigns to gather his petitions. His campaign remains poorly run. His red-faced rants don't endear him with either the public or his staff.
