LOBBYIST ALTMIRE, ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW SPECIAL INTEREST DONORS, EMBRACES CYBER CHARTER SCHOOLS, WHILE WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA HOME OWNERS WAIT FOR PROPERTY TAX RELIEF!!

In a 2010 report, Auditor General Jack Wagner reported: "As more Pennsylvanian children enroll in these alternative public schools, the more it costs taxpayers in additional millions of dollars each year.  Taxpayers now spend about $1 billion a year on the approximately 73,000 children enrolled in PA charter and cyber schools is a bad deal for taxpayers…..Wagner's auditors found that during the 2008-2009 school year, the charter and cyber charter schools reported $108 million in excess profits, euphemistically called "' reserve funds.'"   Does Lobbyist Altmire, supporter of the balanced budget amendment, endorse this waste of the Western PA Middle Class taxpayer's real estate taxes to fund cyber charter schools?  Does Lobbyist Altmire support directing  federal grants to Cyber Charter schools?   Lobbyist Altmire supporting programs that increase the tax burden on retired senior property home owners will not  make you electable.  Lobbyist Altmire you won't  put the interests of WESTERN PA MIDDLE CLASS SENIORS over your BIG HEALTHCARE donors.  Now you are monkeying with their real estate taxes.  ISN'T THEIR ENOUGH SPECIAL INTEREST MONEY ON K STREET TO FUND YOUR CAMPAIGN??
